Leader 18" - 5 hp PPV Fan
Many times at the fire scene there is very little room for positioning the blower fan. The partial loss of the "cone-of-air" airflow is a recurrent problem with conventional fans. Thanks to the Easy Pow-Air technology developed by LEADER our "straight stream airflow" fans offer constant efficiency between 3 and 20 feet, giving the firefighters much more room to operate.
The many different scenarios of emergency operation (basements, steps, landings, etc.) require adjustable tilt of the fan to allow precise direction of the air flow for efficient air movement. LEADER has developed an automatic control handle bringing the fan to its optimum tilt angle of 100 with the handle raised, with additional adjustment up to 200.
The Extendable Handle is easy-to-raise with a full-width flip-up handle that quickly extends and can be operated with one hand, making transportation easier.
Large, hard-rubber solid wheels are standard and will never deflate if pierced by sharp objects. The wheels provide easy manipulations of the PPV Fan up and over LDH, curbs, stair steps, and soft soil. There are no brakes to lock down as the fan sits firmly on four, robust rubber pads and the wheels do not touch the ground until the PPV fan is tilted back for forward or backward movement.
