The Gemtor Model 531 Escape/Ladder Belt is a high-strength nylon-web belt and is lock stitched with high-tenacity nylon thread. The 531 Belt is intended for use as a positioning device while operating on an aerial device, ground ladder or as an emergency self-rescue device.
Constructed with a 3" wide buckle strap and 5" wide body pad for comfortable wear. All the belt hardware meets 50-hr. salt spray anti-corrosion requirements and is UL Classified. The belt can be quickly and easily engaged and released with the double-tongue buckle, and the zinc-plated steel triple-action pompier hook can be operated with a single hand.
