Ruth Lee Trauma Rescue Training Manikin

The Ruth Lee Trauma Rescue Manikin allows you to take your training to the next level by utilizing the same training manikin for rescue/extrication as well as first-aid and trauma treatment.  One training manikin for multiple disciplines in the same scenario using the same manikin!

Victims often need to be rescued after suffering a traumatic injury and cannot self-rescue from an elevated location, confined space, or other challenging location. These scenarios puts rescue teams under increased pressure to not only make the rescue, but also provide effective emergency first aid and trauma treatment at the scene.

The Ruth Lee Trauma Rescue Manikin allows you train for rescue and trauma treatment with the same manikin. All Trauma Rescue Manikin models include an airway management torso and a traumatic open wound on the thigh, and if needed, you can upgrade to include IV and IO capabilities depending on your training requirements.

Airway Management Torso – Often a traumatic injury results in respiratory distress and now you can train for airway skills and traumatic first aid using one training tool.

Traumatic Open Wound - The integrated Thigh Wound Packing module is robust, washable and reusable. It is constructed from silicone and features a realistic texture and appearance. It features a large traumatic wound with bleeding tubes that enable the trainer to simulate a major hemorrhage. The traumatic open wound allows you to train on the correct application of a tourniquet or wound packing. The trainer controls the amount of blood pumping through the wound and can stop the blood when they feel the trainee has treated the patient correctly.

•   The torso can be used to perform CPR

•   Thigh wound packing/tourniquet trainer with blood pump
•   The torso also contains teeth, uvula, vocal cords, glottis, epiglottis, larynx, arytenoid cartilage, trachea, esophagus, and inflatable lungs and stomach all while allowing nasogastric tube placement and accepts Combitube®, E.O.A., E.G.T.A., P.T.L. and i-gel airways.

Airway/Bleed/IV/IO Model Manikin Includes:
•   All features of the Airway/Bleed model 
•   IV Practice Arm - The IV Practice Arm has an intramuscular injection site at the top of the arm and allows for venipuncture to the arm and hand.
•   Intraosseous (IO) Tibia Task Trainer - The intraosseous (IO) Tibia Task Trainer is designed to simulate intraosseous (IO) needle placement, which includes palpable landmarks at the proximal tibia, allowing trainees to facilitate accurate site location. Manufactured from silicone with an internal 3D printed bone to provide realistic resistance as the needle first enters the bone marrow cavity. It is encased in polyester material and attached to the manikin using Velcro straps.

The Trauma Training Manikin is NOT SUITED FOR:
