Fire Hooks NY Roof Hook

Fire Hooks is the original developer of the New York Roof Hook. The New York Roof Hook has been in service for over 25 years as the "official" hook of the FDNY. Developed by the experience of over 20 years of service in the busiest fire houses in the FDNY.

Fire Hooks participated in the development of this tool with the New York City Fire Department - Research and Development Division.ﾠ We use our exclusive all-purpose head, aircraft steel shaft, chisel end, and Celtex grips to make up the New York Roof Hook.ﾠ The chisel end is used as a prying tool for scuttle hatches and roof doors. The shorter length hooks are good for going up fire escapes and scuttles to the roof.ﾠ

The New York Roof Hook canﾠbe fitted with a D-Handle in place of the chisel end.ﾠ
