Iron Duck Base Board

One of the most popular Iron Duck backboards, the Base Board Patient Transfer Spine Board offers the leading strength and safety in its weight class. The Base board is rated for the lowest amount of deflection in the 400 lbs. - 500 lbs. weight class. The flat surface patient area won’t compromise CPR efforts or aggravate cervical spine injuries (as concave boards may).

The Base Board is constructed from a roto-molded HDPE shell, or high-density polyethylene, over non-toxic, eco-friendly foam for durability and easy cleaning. The 14 hand holds are oversized to accommodate even gloved hands and the Base Board is X-Ray and CT scan translucent, MRI Scan compatible. The 10 optional offset composite pins are located in the lower third of the handholds to keep pins out of the way while lifting patients.
