Moisture Membrane Hood
Majestic Moisture Membrane Hoods are available in 2 ply or 3 ply models that combine the thermal protective qualities of C6 Carbon and a Melange Moisture Barrier to control moisture and resist steam penetration. The increased surface area of the Moisture Membrane Hoods allow for greater moisture disbursement keeping the firefighter dry.

The wider width of the Moisture Membrane Hoods allow for increased air circulation thus keeping the end user cooler. The generous width and size also mean less fabric stretch so the hood maintains its shape and protective coverage especially around the SCBA face piece. The elastic face opening stretches to accommodate a circumference of at least 31" for ease of donning while still providing a snug fit, and proper seal with SCBA face piece.
C6 Material is self-extinguishing; when exposed to flame, C6 fibers expand creating an Oxygen starved environment so fire cannot continue. C6 material is odor neutralizing, anti-static and offers extremely low heat conductivity.

• Embroidery by non-NFPA compliant companies
• Using non-NFPA compliant thread
• Not following ISO manufacturing procedures
ANY aftermarket customization or modifications made to a NFPA Compliant protective hood will void the hood warranty rendering the hood non-NFPA compliant. The safety of the end-user is Majestic’s primary concern.
