EVAC Charlotte Personal Escape Pack
The EVAC Charlotte Personal Escape Pack was developed in cooperation with the Charlotte (NC) Fire Dept. The Charlotte Pack holds 50 ft. of Sterling FireTech2 escape rope and features a pocket and elastic specifically designed for the Sterling FCX descender and the Sterling Stealth Escape Anchor hook.
The rope compartment in the pack is secured with a Velcro flap that holds and protects the rope while also allowing a Sterling FCX descender to be positioned on top of the pack. A Velcro strap over the top secures the descender in the ready position. The entire pack is designed to be stored in your bunker pant turnout pocket for easy access and rapid deployment.

The first certified 100% Technora escape rope ever made and the choice of the FDNY for their escape systems. An improved construction on the popular FireTech makes the FireTech2 slightly lighter weight and gives it a softer hand. Compatible with F4™ and new FCX™ descent devices.

Sterling Stealth Escape Anchor Hook
The next generation escape hook from Sterling, the Stealth hook has more features, in an even lighter package. Continuing with the popularity of our first-of-its-kind gated hitching slot for quick and secure remote anchoring, we have re-engineered this fire escape hook to be 14% lighter than its predecessor, with new features:
• Forged from aircraft grade 7075 aluminum
• Tool-grade stainless steel tip allows for better holding in a variety of anchoring surfaces and can be easily changed out if it becomes blunted from training. Each tip offers two points that can be used.
• Truss design reduces weight and preserves strength
• Lightest NFPA escape hook weighing 6 oz. (170g)
• Rounded radius at the back of the hitching slot for easier use in an improvised mechanical advantage system.
• Heel ridges and milled grips help keep the hook in your hand and in place at the anchor.
• Slot at the top of the hook to be used for a pull tab.
