TFT Low Level Strainer

The Task Force Tips (TFT) High volume low-level strainer is made of hard anodized and powder-coated aluminum. The clog-resistant stainless steel filter has over twice as much flow area as a 6" hose. This keeps friction loss down to 0.5 psi (1" Hg) at 1,500 gpm and reduces the potential for air vortexes to form as water sinks towards the 2.5" minimum usable depth. The oversized sealed ball pivot allows 45° range of hose angle without constricting the flow path.

Integrated Jet Siphon:
Substantially increases suction lift capability and is also useful for tank shuttle, pump priming and dewatering with no need for a trash pump. The Jet Siphon has 1.5" NH female hose threaded coupling that pivots freely in any direction to avoid hose kinks.

Detachable Float:
Remove the float and use as a low level strainer for portable tank operations or leave the float attached to access water from ponds, lakes and rivers. With the flaot attached the strainer inlet hangs 18" below the water level to avoid sucking surface air and/or bottom debris. The float is capable of supporting up to 30 ft. of suction hose allowng the strainer to be extended well beyond safety ledges of most residential ponds.
