The J-Rod REX Tool is a modified version of the original REX Tool.
The original REX Tool was designed by Lt. Rex Morris, FDNY Rescue 3. The Rex Tool is a lock pulling tool, shaped like a "U" with sharp tapered blades that bite into lock cylinders of all shapes and sizes. Extra leverage and original head design provide the mechanical advantage to pull well secured lock cylinders.
The J-Rod REX Tool features the original U-shaped lock puller from the REX Tool with the addition of a penetrating spike. The opposite end is fit with an A-Type lock puller. The welded ring allows for attachment of a sling.
